Prince Harry Is a Feminist & Men Everywhere Should Take Note

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have a fairy-tale romance. And it's very clear that Meghan is her own person with her own interests and seems to be a very solid human being who truly cares about others -- especially women's rights. So it should come as no surprise that Prince Harry is a feminist, but what's lovely is that Meghan is talking about it -- noting some of the not often spoken about but great qualities about the prince.

While on their third official outing together, Meghan and Harry met with royal watchers outside Cardiff Castle in Wales. According to People, it was there that 23-year-old Jessica Phillips caught the princess-to-be's attention and told her how much she appreciated her work as a feminist and to advance women's rights. Without missing a beat, Meghan said, "He's a feminist, too," while nodding in Harry's direction.

Harry just got exponentially sexier.

Jessica went on to say how "lovely" Meghan was -- a fact we couldn't agree with more. Meghan has done some incredible work as an ambassador for United Nations Women and World Vision among others. She's been calling out companies for sexism since she was 11 years old when she wrote Procter and Gamble to let them know it's not a mom's sole focus to wash the dishes.
These facts about Meghan were all a part of what made Harry fall in love with her. And it's doubtful she would have fallen in love with him if he wasn't on board with the equality of women.

He had a great role model in his mother.

It needs to be noted that Princess Diana was not only the People's Princess, but a feminist as well. While her untimely death occurred when Harry was just 12 years old, it's clear he learned so much from her ... and continues to follow the incredible example she set for her children to this day.

The prince is all about gender equality.

Harry's work with various charities shows how much he does think about equal rights for all as well as so many other humanitarian issues. But we love how he applies it to his every day life, too. Earlier this month, when a guest on a Nottingham radio show with Meghan, Harry seemed to be asked all the questions. He interjected and gave the floor to Meghan saying, "She answers the questions!" Meghan, who must have been so pleased, said, "Yes, talking of gender equality!"
We're quite pleased with Harry, too. Feminism isn't just a woman thing -- it's something everyone should be. All men should take note.
